Position Description:
This Program Manager will be overseeing a large program with many projects that are focused on replacing legacy systems with modern technologies and introducing new systems that will provide critical solutions to our business teams and will enable competitive strategy.
These solutions support both in-store and on-line initiatives and are focused on multiple areas including Point of Sale, Category Management, Pricing, and Promotions.
The train consists of approximately 25 teams that are working in a mix of technologies. Some teams are on-site in Cincinnati and others are Offshore in India.
The Program Manager/Agile Delivery Manager will drive multiple projects and teams to deliver the program according to budget and schedule.  This resource will be responsible for working with new and existing agile delivery and shared service teams while managing all aspects of the program including; budget, communications, dependencies, execution, and delivery. The ideal candidate will be an experienced program manager that is also versed in Agile methodologies (Preferably SAFe). This opportunity requires the candidate to have strong leadership and negotiation skills while being a proven self-starter, detail oriented, and demonstrating the ability to lead the program from an overall level, as well as, dig into detailed tasks when necessary.
Compensation & Benefits:

Job Function of Program Manager/Agile Delivery Manager:
  • Responsible for identifying appropriate resources needed, helping to assemble project teams, and assigning individual responsibilities.
  • Provide input on resourcing to address bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Maintain, Manage, and Track budgets for multiple projects.
  • Establish and update project plans/Kanban or Scrum boards with the teams to display the delivery of the functionality being created
  • Conduct agile ceremonies such as stand ups, scrum of scrums, retrospectives and Planning events.
  • Facilitate Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post- Planning meetings
  • Facilitate the creation of Objectives and Key Results and ensure they are clearly documented, communicated, and delivered to meet customer needs.
  • Communicate timely project status to all stakeholders.
  • Manage risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues.
  • Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and help them improve

Qualifications for Program Manager/Agile Delivery Manager:
  • 5 or more years Program Manager experience.
  • Experience leading a highly matrixed project team.
  • Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget.
  • Solid knowledge and ability to apply the systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing I.T. solutions in an Agile environment.
  • Proven problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in team motivation, delegation, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively share information with customers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in Agile or SAFe environment and familiarity with Agile concepts and roles.
  • Release Train Engineer experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong focus on scope and delivery using Agile.
  • Strong dependency management skills within and across teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and/or SAFe to enable coordination with agile teams.
