Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a unit/department head.

- Request is for two resources
- Manager used contractors hired for the Global Ops PMO as an example of the kind of resources they would ideally like to plug into these roles
- Project management skillset needed for inflight contract implementation
- Inflight contracts are currently separate and they are integrating contracts under flight attendants
- Much of the development has already been done
- Currently testing over the next few months to ensure UAT teams as well as flight attendants and different user groups are in place prior to October go-live
- Also a mobile piece that entails pushing a new scheduling app out to flight attendants - moving into phases of production this month
- Introducing software on flight attendants' personal devices, which is a new approach

- First resource will be responsible for more of the testing, overall coordination, and program management in regard to the scheduling app
- Managing testing, programming changes, and defect resolution to stay on track
- Working closely with other PMs on the team
- Will provide assistance in working with security to make sure all boxes are checked from security to the development team

- Second resource will be responsible for more of the portfolio management piece
- Will assist with overall budgeting and resource management for the Crew Tech portfolio

- Ideally, resources should be able to pull together executive reporting
- Experience with Power Point (will use frequently), Project, and Excel required
- Must have strong presentation skills - will hold meetings and lead calls
- Must work well with both business and technical groups
- Not solely an IT PM - more high level - not working with developers so much as they are working with other managers
- Minimal travel required, most likely only between Willis Tower and OPC
- Manager is open to reviewing non-local candidates who are willing to relocate
