The Content and Curriculum team is looking for an experienced program manager with knowledge of and passion for the digital advertising space to lead an update of AdWords documentation in preparation for a major launch in 2018. The ideal candidate will enjoy both the craft of writing as well as the organization and coordination of content creation with peers. Utilizing skill sets in both writing and project management, the program manager will be the main point of contact for this project. The program manager will work with internal stakeholders to strategize and plan how to utilize five writers and one video specialist to update all relevant content by launch date.

The program manager will work closely with senior members of the Content and Curriculum team to make sure the project stays within budget and is communicated effectively to senior stakeholders. The Content and Curriculum team is part of the Tech Scaled Engagement and Learning team, whose mission is to inform, educate and engage Customers, and Vendors in the Ads ecosystem, enabling Customer Success with our client’s advertising products, by -building customer knowledge and self-reliance -simplifying and clarifying how to use our products effectively –strengthening Client/Vendor capability to provide best-in-class support. The ultimate objective of the team is to reduce the demand for customer support (ticket reduction), increase customer self-reliance (self-help rate), and to increase Client/Vendor effectiveness (first time resolution) and efficiency (average handling time). The team comprises 4 functional units: Content and Curriculum Engagement Platforms Operations and Production Strategic Initiatives The goal of our Content and Curriculum team is to ensure we develop and maintain high quality, up to date, and impactful content and learning by Partnering closely with product teams to understand how our products work Understanding the needs of our internal & external audiences Shaping the best possible content, learning paths, and materials to support the user journey

Top Daily Responsibilities:

Oversee the content strategy and execution of an update to thousands of pieces of content in preparation for a new feature launch in AdWords

Coordinate work across five writers and one video specialist

Communicate regularly with senior stakeholders on multiple teams to keep them aware of project timelines, milestones, and roadblocks Work with members of the content team to ensure project stays within budget


BA/BS degree or minimum 4+ year’s practical experience

2 years of work experience with at least 1 year in project management, product management, or consulting

Impeccable writing and attention to detail

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Haves:

At least 2 years of experience in an editorial, content strategy, or learning and development role

Experience with and knowledge of digital advertising/ AdWords

Experience working with an external agency to produce content
