Description: Telecom Project Coordinator
Location: Gahanna, OH
Contract: Multi-year – open ended
Telecom Project Coordinators will assist lead engineers in project planning and coordination with field and customers to ensure projects are running efficiently. The assigned coordinator will keep target completion dates and project plans current, and ensure projects conclude on agreed upon dates.

Overall Strategic Goal: Take the non-engineering work off the engineers.

Other Duties:
1. Keep target completion dates current.

2. Coordinate between engineering, operations, and customer to ensure projects run smoothly.

3. Keep Service Now tasks current.

4. Provide reporting to ensure all projects are on track and escalate those that are not.

5. Ensure project process is completed.

6. Stretch goals include beginning to help with ordering, outside contractor coordination, and work releases.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred with and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Other Qualifications:
1. Previous project management and/or coordination experience with construction crews and external contracting firms, telecom field operations and telecom engineers
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills
3. Behaviors desired: Acts with accountability, self-starter, continuous improvement mindset, excellent quality and quantity of work.
4. Software Experience Preferred: Excel, Service Now, Advanced Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project and Prima Vera.

Previous Telecom project experience/background is a plus
Must understand financial aspects of project coordination
Experience with ServiceNow is a plus
Great communication skills
