Wells Fargo & Co has created a team to develop artificial intelligence-based technology and appointed a lead for its newly combined payments businesses, as part of an ongoing push to strengthen its digital offerings.

 

Wells Fargo's AI team will work on creating technology that can help the bank provide more personalized customer service through its bankers and online.

 

Wells Fargo sees an increasing number of opportunities to better leverage data to provide personalized customer service through our bankers and digital channels. To accelerate the company’s efforts, a new Artificial Intelligence Enterprise Solutions team has been created

 

  • Expertise in predictive modeling using both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
  • Experience in modern deep learning approaches and natural language processing. Advanced proficiency with at least one statistical computing language for data analysis, such as R or Python.
  • Experience distilling and presenting complex concepts to a business audience. Experience with IBM Watson AI capabilities.
  • Experience working in an agile methodology.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Critical thinking skills to assess how AI capabilities can best be applied to complex business situations.
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
