  • Location: Waltham, MA
  • Duration: 3 month contract-to-hire
  • Rate: Negotiable based on experience 

Summary: A Principal Business Systems Manager comes up the IT side of the house, is a high level individual contributor who acts as the Project Manager, typically is PMP certified (or will obtain – company will pay for cert) and is responsible for the project from project inception thru post implementation.  They are the liaison between the business and the IT organization.  They gather business requirements from the business and create functional spec’s, they are technical enough to configure the different PTC Windchill modules and do some custom coding, they work with the developers, explaining what is needed.  They are responsible for all facets of the project, eg, timelines, resources, budget. 

They will be working on PCT Windchill’s:

  • Complaint Management
  • CAPA
  • Non Conformance

Responsibilities (in addition to baseline in job description:

  • Work on various projects where Windchill is identified as the core application platform.
  • Enhance and customize existing Windchill software environments, to improve system processes, user experience and deliver incremental value to the company through new, efficient processes.
  • Align with Fresenius IT strategic direction for near term and long-term goals.

Experience:

  • Windchill experience. Participate in implementing configuring and customizing PLM or CEM or CAD Management products, support existing Windchill deployments and proactively monitor Windchill deployments
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in managing internal projects and working with business users
  • PLM or CEM process knowledge methodologies in the Life Sciences Industry, Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices, and Healthcare.
  • Experience working with Computer validation team to develop Installation and Production qualification documents and assist in testing.
  • Familiarity with Document Management, Complaint Management and CAPA/NC
  • Ability to manage multiple task assignments and work in an environment with tight time constraints, deadlines
  • Experience with the following a plus: CAD, Business Process Management Software, Java, SQL, Oracle, XML, Apache, Tomcat, and/or LDAP.
  • Strong configuration and customization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems efficiently.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • PMP certification or equivalent
