Project Manager
Job Description: The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle, assuring compliance with IT PM Methodology. They are responsible for the development of project plans, tracking status of projects, adherence to schedule and budget, setting priorities and assigning action items for on-going large scale projects. The Project Manager will foster collaboration between departments to optimize system implementation and improvements. Finally, the Project Manager will support and refine standard project management and portfolio management methodologies as set forth by the IT Program Management Office. Principle Duties: Utilizes IT PMM to lead and direct large projects to completion. Identifies, develops, and initiates innovations and solutions where precedents and procedures may not exist. Works cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes. Analyzes decisions and actions for their support of the larger area’s strategic direction. Works with senior management to resolve more complex problems. Specifically, this role will be in support of the IT infrastructures projected growth to align with the business needs of the company.
Education Level
Bachelor’s Level Degree
Experience/Requirements
•  PMP Certification
•  Understanding, knowledge and ability to act as the liaison between the business stakeholders and IT department
•  Requirements gathering
•  Background in IT (either hands on or experience managing IT projects)
•  Agile knowledge
