Project Manager
Client: Enterprise Healthcare Company
Contract: 6 month Contract to Hire
Location: Etobicoke
Job Description:
  • Lead project teams to deliver on the expected project outcomes, including scope, schedule and budget
  • Lead subject matter experts to plan for the project, including building the work breakdown structure
  • Identify work package dependencies, build project schedule, financial plan, risks registry, user adoption plan, and other key components leading to successful project delivery
  • Ensure the project has proper governance by leveraging existing governance structures, or setting up new governance committees as appropriate
  • Monitor the progress of the project against the plan, manage issues and risks, and invoke the governance structure the steer the project as required. 
  • Ensure user adoption readiness, operational support readiness, etc. prior to go-live.
  • Complete lessons learned and close the project once transition to operations successfully completes.
  • Provide timely and accurate project status updates to the project team and other stakeholders.  This includes reports on schedule, cost, resource utilization, issues, risks, etc.
  • Complete required project documentation for each project phase and ensure the project deliverable meet the company’s policies such information management, security, etc.
  • Mentor and guide others in improving their project management knowledge and capabilities 

 
Qualifications:
 
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Project Manager with deployment of technology in healthcare environment
  • PMP certification, PRINCE 2, or equivalent
  • Delivery focused, resourceful and strong analytical skills
  • Strong leadership skills, good political acuity and able to build collaborative relationships
