Apex Systems is seeking a Project Manager for one of our financial clients in the downtown Kansas City, MO area.

Description and Requirements below:
  • Description:
    • Using Scrum/Agile to form a DevOps practice that supports solutions and create them. 
    • This person will play a key role in helping migrate this client to the cloud, also helping the teams build future strategic apps in the cloud (Azure), supporting emerging DevOps culture
    • Making services ready for teams and actionable when they need it. Responsibility to elevate their enterprise by taking groups doing things on premise and giving them tools to move it to the cloud.
    •  Led 2 to 3 Teams in Scrum methodology, but the Teams are smaller feature teams.
    • Following all scrum ceremonies at this time (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, etc…)
    • Offshore Team will have a Lead that the Scrum Master works with, essentially a peer.
    • Working in 2 week sprints currently.
    • Currently a Program Manager is flexing to hold the role of the Scrum Master.

  • Hard Requirements:
    • ?Needs to understand how to run Scrum Teams and they use Azure DevOps to track a lot of their project detail.
    • 1-2 years Scrum experience minimum
    • Must be an applications focused Project Manager with 3-4+ years experience
  • Preferred Requirements:
    •  Experience with Cloud technology Experience with migrating from on-premise to Cloud
    • Experience with Cloud technology (Azure is preferred)
    • Experience with Network Infrastructure build and/or migration projects
    • Experience with Server Virtualization projects
