JOB SUMMARY

Supports the operational and financial planning and analysis needs of business units, and provides integrated analysis of financial and operational metrics.

Works with complex data and uses numerous data sources to generate financial analysis and reporting . This person is comfortable with data and have the ability to analyze raw data and reports to provide management with a coherent picture of trends.

This person should have strong reporting and Excel skills, process mapping, highly intuitive and eager to identify issues. 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the internal and external customer experience.

Review expense entries of assigned business units and understand the correlation of expenses associated with monthly activity, as well as the timing of projects.

Input, review and approve PO’s (Purchase Orders) and CPRs (Capital Project Requests) for expenses and validate against budget.

 

Manage the full cycle PO and CPR processes (creation, change, tracking, receipt and closure).

Provides financial analysis and support for assigned business units: review and provide commentary for  monthly expense results and accruals.

Assists in the month end close review, ensuring that accruals are accurate and complete.  Provides input for the monthly review of expenses and capital to budget and forecast, and explain variances with operational analytics and insight to assigned business unit leadership and the finance group.

Special Projects as needed and performs other duties as requested by supervisor.
