  1. QA Analyst with at least 5 years’ experience.
  2. QA experience testing ETL, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Big Data, SAS DW, Teradata, Enterprise Data Hub, Apache Hadoop, Cloudera, DAGS, Robot Jobs, schema testing, record counts and data validation.
  3. Practical working experience using the following tools is required; Quality Center ALM, SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL Query Tools,  JIRA, HUE, Hive, Impala, Airflow, Robot Scheduler, Beyond Compare and PUTTY.
  4. Experience testing in the healthcare industry must include both medical and/or pharmacy.
  5. Excellent communication skills are required, including written and verbal. 
  6. Resources must be comfortable participating in and leading discussions of medium sized group settings (5 – 8 people). 
  7. Resources must be comfortable working independently and/or in small groups.
  8. Resources must feel comfortable challenging project resources when concerns are identified that relate to quality and compliance.
  9. Specific resources skills must include the ability to create Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Data and conduct peer and project reviews of testing artifacts. 
  10. Resources must be able to create complex SQL queries that include data transformation logic, JOINS, filter logic and deduping logic.
  11. Resources must be able to estimate QA effort based upon project scope and requirements.
  12. Resources must be able to provide daily/weekly/ad hoc status reports, and complete all applicable testing artifacts.

 
Hours and Training:
Hours:
  •  40hrs/week

Contract Duration:
  •  3 months but potential to be extended to 12 months

Position Overview:

  • Provide testing services as part of IT QA.  Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes

Qualifications/years of experience:
  •  3-5 years of Data Warehouse test experience

 
Must Haves:
  • QA Data Warehouse testing experience required
