Apex Systems is looking for 3 POS QA Testers in Columbus, Ohio.

  • This position will be primarily focused on testing POS systems (Point of Sale Systems)
  • Execution of Functional and System Integration testing 
  • Participate in the definition of Use Case and supporting Test Case scenarios 
  • Create / update Test Scripts to facilitate documented Test Cases.
  • Proactively identify functional, technical and integration related defects.
  • Preform preliminary trouble shooting of defects to facilitate quick resolution 
  • Documentation of defects utilizing HP Quality Center 
  • Effectively communicate issues and risks in addition to daily testing status 
  • Identify business process implications / workarounds 

Requirements

  • 4+ years of manual QA testing experience
  • Must have prior POS testing experience (Aloha is preferred)
  • Must be comfortable working on a team or independently
  • Must have experience using test management tools, such as HP Quality Center
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented, environment
