You’ll work with cross-functional technology teams to ensure correct business functionality, technical requirements, and quality standards are met, enhance our customers’ experience, and support organizational productivity, innovation, and quality.

You will be responsible for automation, functional and integration testing, and you’ll help us develop new approaches to get us to the next level.  Today, all of our testing is done manually, so we are looking for a team member that can help improve and automate our testing practices.

To be successful, you must be able to communicate effectively, be self-motivated and well-organized, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You must have both testing and test-automation skills. Most importantly, your colleagues trust you when you say it’s been tested.

  • Work with your Scrum team to create and run both manual and automated tests (including integration, regression, and performance tests) for our applications. You’ll have hands-on involvement in test data preparation, test case design, test execution, defect triage, reporting, deployment and post-deployment support.
  • Help nail down requirements, collaborating with the BSA(s), Dev Team(s), users, and stakeholders in the analysis and review of business objectives. You’ll help define User Stories, and asking lots of questions to ensure we understand what the Story should do, how it should do it, and how we’ll know it’s doing it.
  • Develop, document and maintain test data, data validation, and end to end testing flows. Run database queries in order to supply data validation within test scripts. Maintain and develop the Test Environment to meet changing requirements.
  • Collaborate with the project team to support UAT efforts, and participate in off-hour production releases, as needed.
  • Work on process improvements. We’ll get you involved in a variety of projects like new features, code maintenance and bug fixes, and you’ll be challenged to help implement and follow process improvements along the way.
  • Mentor Team members and others on test tools and techniques.
  • Participate in all Scrum activities, perform code reviews, contribute to a high performing, growing team.

  • At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing (Selenium and TestComplete preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience with test automation development across all the different levels of test (unit, integration, performance, UI, etc.)
  • Experience with databases like Oracle (preferred), database languages like SQL and PL/SQL (preferred) and data validation, and the ability to write moderately-complex SQL queries.
  • 1+ year’s demonstrable experience working in a high velocity Scrum/Agile environment and development methodology as part of an Agile (Scrum) team.
  • Experience writing and executing test automation scripts using Selenium framework (preferred) or TestComplete, QTP, etc.
  • Strong business analysis skills and proven competency with Test and/or Quality process development.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, as you will have significant interaction with our end users, as well as technical staff, and will be expected to collaborate in understanding and developing requirements, and implementing sustainable solution designs.
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, and willing to cross role boundaries for the sake of “doing what needs be done” to meet team goals and timelines.
  • Desire and ability to learn about the needs and point of view of the various business units and users.

  • Experience building automation frameworks
  • Experience conducting code reviews in an object-oriented language
  • A bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent engineering exposure. A BS in IS, CS or a related IT field will have given you the foundation you need to succeed.
  • 1+ years of working with AMANDA
  • 2+ years of PL/SQL experience
  • Experience working with HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, and/or SmartGuide
  • Intermediate knowledge of object-oriented programming languages Java and/or Python, C#, Ruby, and XML.
