Job purpose: 
Client is continually making improvements and new features to existing platform and they are also building new products. 
Duties and responsibilities

  • Experience participating in requirements analysis/review and working sessions to understand the requirements, design specs and user stories.
  • Versatile in testing applications in a fast-paced, Agile software development/testing environment.
  • Proficient in writing test cases, test scenarios, test data preparation, test execution, defect tracking and resolution.
  • Responsible for reviewing all requirements, feature/sub feature documents and associated items for the products and sprint candidate.
  • Proficient in accurately estimating new feature items for both test case development and testing properly.
  • Proficient with multi-platform and cross-browser compatibility testing.
  • Proficient in Request/Response validation of REST/Web API’s using Swagger/PostMan
  • Accountable for regression of product suite in maintaining quality.
  • Proactive and analytical problem solver, capable of defect tracking through use of defect tracking tools like JIRA/Bugzilla.
  • Experience working on multi-platform.
  • Possesses organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, adapt to change and prioritize work.
  • Proficient in communicating testing updates through status reporting and daily stand-up.
  • Clear communicator - both written and verbal.
  • Capable of assisting guide customer support and business users through UAT process as necessary.

 
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of testing experience incorporating System Testing, Integration Testing, User Interface Testing, Regression and Acceptance Testing.
  • Thorough knowledge of structured test methods, procedures and processes in Automated Software Testing with awareness of Agile Software Development Lifecyle delivering SaaS and on-premises multi-platform client/server solutions.
  • Experience with test management tools.
  • Ability to build and execute detailed test cases.
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
