This function is responsible for delivery and the quality of delivery for application/infrastructure changes moving into production. The release manager is responsible for the quality of deployment for each release. This position exists to successfully execute projects/initiatives that fall under that area. Meets scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner and has an in-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, practices and techniques for managing the activities related to planning, managing and implementing project and programs.

  • Tracking integration level concurrency to ensuring projects that impact other projects (internal and external) are tracked at an enterprise level. 
  • Coordinating and tracking future releases 
  • Tracking each Release from the time it is created until completed for your area of responsibility 
  • Coordinate all changes to quality environments with all affected teams and engage with Software Management team to implement changes 
  • Working with project managers and application solution leads to tract status 
  • Conduct project coordination meeting and report risk and status to management team 
  • Validating release notes are updated for all projects and summarized and communicated to the business 
  • Liaison with production services on production implementation activities 
  • Training coordinator for release process communication and rollout 
  • Produce/Coordinate and sign off of Implementation Plans, contact list and Timeline Summaries 
  • Contribute to the continued enhancement of release process and tools 
  • Provide project management for multiple and or large IT projects. 



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent work experience required, one additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained.
  • MBA or Master of Computer Science is preferred.
