We are hiring for a Research Associate role for a cGMP cellular therapy manufacturing facility located in San Francisco, California. This role will help support ongoing clinical trials aimed at reducing the need for immunosuppressive drugs in patients that undergo organ transplants. You will have the opportunity to take on defined research projects within the larger group and be an author on scientific publications. 

Responsibilities and Duties:
Clinical Manufacturing of Drug Product will include:
  • Develop Primary cell lines from clinical trial human samples 
  • Run assay to test the product
  • Process whole and apheresis products 
  • Purification and chromatography
  • Preparation of buffer and media solutions
  • Inventory management and ordering
  • Documentation of all runs and preps
  • lab/procedure room maintenance and GMP Triple Clean with staff help

Qualifications and Skills:
Must have: 
  • BS/BA in Biology, Chemistry or related field
  • Aseptic technique w/ respect to cell culture experience
  • Mathematically proficient
  • Critical thinking skills and independent work ethic
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • High-level communication skills

Preferred qualifications:
  • Flow Cytometry
  • GMP/Batch Documentation experience
