Job Description –Risk Management Analyst

The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for supporting corporate wide Supplier Risk Management initiative. 

This person is expected to apply analytical skills to help drive changes through business acumen and technology savviness.  The individual will effectively collaborate with IT, Sourcing, Finance, Global Supply Chain Systems support, and business stakeholders to process inherent risk questionnaires to completion. 

This person will provide support for Risk Assessment team and must have the ability to manipulate data in order to communicate project success trends.

This position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in areas such as systems, sourcing, supply chain, business and financial analytics or change management.  Also required is the ability to be self-directed, and to manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment where requirements and constraints may evolve frequently.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Partner with Sourcing business partners to ensure timely completion of the Inherent Risk Questionnaires (IRQ) .
  • Communicate via email, instant message or via phone to coach business partners to assist with filling out the questionnaires with the support of a job aide.
  • Provide hourly updates via excel on status of an IRQ to keep Cross functional team informed of completion status or follow up activates.
  • Report issues with the IRQ system to IT or Supplier Risk Management lead contact.
  • Lead business owners through system to finish their IRQs.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree 3 years of  experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Change Management or Supply Chain required
  • Strong technical experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical skills and communication skills required
  • Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions
  • Well organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to prioritize projects, establish realistic timelines/milestones and  achieve  results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of management including senior leaders
  • Strong relationship management including peers, executives, internal/external customers, third party vendors, and various stakeholders
  • Ability to produce accurate and timely information in a highly dynamic work environment with strong Customer Focus mindset
