Title: SAP Basis Administrator
Location: Columbus, OH
Contract: 6 months to open-ended– potential right to hire
 
Apex systems is currently seeking a SAP BASIS Administrator for a 6-month contract to hire opportunity.  The qualified candidate will have the following responsibilities.
 
Job Responsibilities:
The SAP Basis Administrator provides high level support to end users to quickly identify and resolve key issues as well as focus on projects and Basis tasks that require an in depth knowledge of the SAP application suite. This position will be responsible for the optimal performance and uptime of business critical systems, Bolt-ON applications and databases.. SAP Basis Administrator encompasses, but is not limited to daily system checks, SAP Basis support, TMS / Realtech Transport Manager support, SAP printer support, SAP Archiving, SAP GUI support, SAP Portal support, PI /GRC/ PLM / CRM /NFe support, Faxing (Kofax) and Ixos/OpenText support as well as system refresh support for multiple instances.
 
Job Requirements:
•  5+ years’ experience with SAP BASIS Administration
•  5+ years’ experience with BW 3.0, BW7.0 SAP ECC 6
•  Experience in working in an environment with many different systems
•  Managagmet of the 3-tier landscape including: ECC, BW, CRM, GRC and PI
•  Configure, tune, monitor and troubleshoot the SAP environment
•  Responsible for installation, upgrade, and maintenance
•  Design and implement and optimatize SAP configurations to maximize availability and performance
•  Excellent written and verbal communication capable of presenting at executive level as necessary
         
Technical Experience:
•  SQL 2005/2008/2012
•  ABAP knowledge (do not need to write)
•  SAP Portal experience
•  Windows Server 2008/2012
•  Windows based Application Servers
 
Pluses
•  ABAP knowledge (do not need to write)
•   SAP Portal experience
