Job Summary: 

Overall responsibilities:  Provide reports to a diverse customer base relative to various HR functions and business areas from a multitude of data sources.  How:  Analyze data, gather business knowledge, work with client to define report specifications, review and modify existing or create new SAS code to produce data and reports that meet the reporting needs of TPMG HR.

Business areas of HR we support:  1) Recruitment, 2) Benefits - Active and Retirement, 3) Compensation, 4) Administrative, 5) Leadership, 6) Regulatory, 7) Workers' Comp, 8) Miscellaneous

Business Clients:  TPMG Executive Leadership, Regional Offices TPMG HR Managers and business areas, Medical Center TPMG HR Managers and support staff, TPMG and KFH Compliance and Regulations for internal and external regulatory reporting, other departments to support their business operations relative to physician HR information. 

Report types:  1) Simple Requests - list or count report, 2) Moderate Request - Compile data from various sources based on specific selection criteria, 3) Complex Requests/Projects - compile data, apply business logic and rules, audit and scrub of data, apply mathematic calculations, and output into meaningful reports for end users, 4) General Stats/Metrics - Hiring and turnover statistics.

Data Sources and environments:  People Soft (Physician-MDPeople) - Oracle,  (Biweekly-MyHR) DB2 Reporting mainframe tables, Recruitment data - Taleo - Oracle or CSV,  CPM DB2 mainframe tables, Internal system data stores - Oracle and SQL Server, Excel files from various sources

Skills Needed:  1)  SAS programming experience - (Intermediate to Advanced), 2)  Data analytics , 3) project management, 4) interpreting and understanding of business knowledge and regulatory standards provided in either written and verbal form and apply to report specifications and programming, 5) SQL, 6) Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, 7) Lotus Notes

Reporting Team Member structure and primary responsibilities: 

4-Data Consultants:  SAS programming, data analysis, reporting, consulting on projects as outlined above in overall responsibilities.

1-Sr. Data Consultant:  Manages the intake, approval, consulting/general report specfications, and assignment of all report requests, SAS programming of adhoc requests.

1-Manager:  Overall management, training, and support of Reporting Team and high level business consulting relative to data and reporting.
