Apex Systems in looking for an SCCM Systems Admin for one our clients in Decatur, IL! This role will work directly with the systems architect to build out the Windows 10 strategy for deployment as well as maintain the current environment, and act as an escalation point for problems. 



  • Expert in deployment of Windows Desktop architecture (Win 7, 8.1, 10) including security models, UAC, AppLocker, Bit locker, GPO’s, file/folder security, registry, local/domain user accounts, WMI, and KMS.
  • Expert in maintaining and troubleshooting Windows server 2008, 2008R2, 2012, and 2016 including Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Expert administering Microsoft SCCM in enterprise environments, including creating or editing security scopes, roles, groups, site boundaries, client settings, configuration baselines, distributions points, and WSUS.
  • Expert knowledge with zero touch OS deployments using SCCM and MDT.
  • Experience with Windows 10 deployments including BIOS to UEFI conversion.
  • Experience with automating software deployments including Office 2013 and O365.
  • Experience with Client hardware with emphasis on Dell client hardware.
  • Experience in automation technologies including System Center Orchestrator, PowerShell, VBScript, and CMD.
  • Experience driving and implementing solution roadmaps involving new technologies. 
  • Experience with antivirus technologies preferred.
  • Experience working with Virtualization technologies such as Vmware or Hyper-V.
  • Experience with T-SQL for report creation is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune preferred.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations preferred.
  • Creative thinker who will actively seek out process efficiencies.
  • Able to proactively recommend and implement improvements to the environment.
  • Ability to create technical documentation as required.
  • Demonstrates strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Flexible to work outside normal business hours as needed to implement changes or resolve problems.
