Apex is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Alexandria IT-Advisory practice and take an active role in engagement execution and client delivery.

Apex and its client helps executives and managers at all levels of government maximize performance and efficiency in the face of ever tightening budgets and increased demand for services. Our public sector team members find solutions that help government leaders with issues including acquisitions, financial management, human capital, information technology and performance management in federal, state, local and international governments.

• Perform security scanning and vulnerability mitigation
• Address security requirements • Prepare all security documentation and assist with ATT and ATO
• Provide expertise in the areas of vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security, product evaluation, and security implementation.
• Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Skills and Certifications:

  • Candidates must be US citizens and able to maintain a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance as a condition of employment
  • 6-8 years of relevant professional experience of applicable technology expertise.
  • Excellent subject-related credentials and expertise
  • Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills A
  • Experience performing security scanning and vulnerability mitigation
  • Ability to prepare security documentation
  • Knowledge in the areas of vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security, product evaluation and security implementation
