Security Architect
Job Description
The job function of the architect will be to review the processes currently used to assess applications and solutions to determine their risk to information security and make recommendations as needed to improve that process or to incorporate industry best practices.  Once the architect has assessed the process, they will work with a business analyst and technical writer to develop a repeatable process that will maintain the quality and consistency of assessments going forward
Responsibilities
  • Reviewing current system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements
  • Conducting regular process tests and ensuring continuous monitoring of network security
  • Developing project timelines for ongoing system upgrades
  • Ensuring all personnel have access to the IT system limited by need and role
  • Establishing disaster recovery procedures and conducting breach of security drills
  • Promptly responding to all security incidents and providing thorough post-event analyses
