Security Project Manager
Job Description:
This position entails the management of a number of projects for the Global IT Security Office (GISCS) of Our client & plc. The projects span from Infrastructure Services to Applications, with a focus in Information Security and Compliance such as PCI and SOX. The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects related to taking the projects from original concept through final deployment and their contributes as a subject matter specialist in IT Security-related technology solutions. The individual participates in strategic and operational project initiatives working with members of the senior management team, Global IT, and Business units across the organization. The Project Manager must achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing initiatives, and executing project deliverables to meet the Global IT Security and Compliance objectives.

Essential Functions: 
The Project Manager is a member of our client's Global IT Security Office, working closely with the business and Global IT teams. The Project Manager's primarily responsible is to deliver assigned projects while adhering to our client's project management lifecycle and governance processes.

Position scope:

• Develop and drive projects against integrated project plans

• Effectively build and manage project budgets

• Manage risks and interdependencies, within project and across projects; Mitigate risks and drive issues to resolution through effective project and program governance

• Setup and facilitate effective project and program governance

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6 to 8 years of experience in IT implementing and supporting mixed, complex environments and solutions

• A firm level of proficiency and technical understanding of applications and systems lifecycle is necessary to fulfill the position responsibilities

• Strong background and experience in IT technologies, Identity Access Management, PCI, SOX, Privilege Access Management and managing infrastructure implementations are fundamental for success in this role

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus solid organization, presentation and documentation abilities, including Visio diagrams and as-built Documentation

• A strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools accompanied with creativity and innovative thinking to find solutions to complex problems that can balance short and long-term objectives

• Understanding of change management, process improvement and organizational analysis

• Successful in creating a compelling, credible business case for information technology initiatives

• Proven experience in project leadership, communications at different levels, conflict resolution, planning, budgeting and overall organization management

• Global perspective and accustomed to doing business around the world and comfortable working with professionals with diverse cultural backgrounds

• Strong experience in technology planning, project planning, team leadership, as well as establishing and managing service measures to ensure organizational effectiveness

• Individual must be a proven change leader accustomed to working in a dynamic environment
