Location: Central Austin
Security Publication Project Manager:
Project Manager will report to ISO and work daily with Security Publications Manager
  1. Core responsibility is to manage the project surrounding publishing the client's Security Controls Standards Catalog
    1. Project Focus:  Project will focus on managing the publication project which includes:
    • Managing the schedule of which controls are in which status
    • Identifying who should write each draft control and ensuring timely delivery of initial draft
    • Managing who is identified as the control owner
    • Identifying and coordinating review with stakeholders around the organization
    • Tracking issues identified during control assessment
    • Training stakeholders on new requirements.
    • Communicating new control to stakeholders
    • Posting to appropriate locations
    • Every control (208+) will be published independently. 
    • Goal is to have a control in the process for 3-4 weeks maximum so project manager will be tracking between 8-40 separate mini projects with different writers, stakeholders, and needs concurrently.
  2. Secondary Responsibilities Include
    • Managing projects to develop/update publications identified as required during the writing and assessment of security controls
    • Assist in writing security controls as time allows
