Security/Risk Analyst

Apex Systems, the nation’s 2nd largest IT Workforce Solutions organization, has an immediate and exciting opportunity for a Security/Risk Analyst for one the largest Healthcare Business’ in Columbus, Ohio.  This opportunity is for a 12+ Month Open Ended Contract.

Company & Group Details of the Security/Risk Analyst:

  • The Security/Risk Analyst will assist Security initiatives and analysis with risk management and controls. 
  • The individual will need to be a strong leader, able to multi-task, determine problems and resolve the issues at hand, and have excellent written and oral skills.

Requirements for the Security/Risk Analyst:

  • 5+ years of Security Analysis across multiple technology platforms, methodologies, and teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to multiple teams, vendors, customers, and all levels within the organization.
  • Assist and complete risk assessments for customer Risk Assessment Survey responses.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.


Technologies for the Security/Risk Analyst:

  • Strong background in Security and Risk.
  • Experience with RedCap, Archer, or ServiceNow GRC.
  • Working knowledge of DLP, QRadar, Splunk, and a general understanding of Networking on an enterprise level.
  • Work within risk assessment management systems (RedCap) to review and complete Risk Assessment Survey Responses for governance.
  • Review 3rd Part Risk assessments and ensure security controls comply with requirements.
  • Assist in the modification and changes to 3rd party assessments.
  • Create reports within RedCap to ensure metrics and be produced.
