Job Summary

 Able to properly calculate wire runs and electrical equipment by properly diagnosing situations and make necessary corrections to ensure maximum production quality, while supporting the Companies polices, goals and objectives.  Able to problem solve and work well unsupervised. Will received daily work direction and assignments from the Maintenance Lead.


Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Performs repairs including but not limited to electrical, electrical mechanical, hydraulically, pneumatic machinery and equipment as well other related maintenance activities.
  • Maintain heating and air conditioning units for the facility.
  • Maintains up-to date work orders and enter data files to main network.
  • Responds in a timely fashion to problems related to facility maintenance and repair.
  • Modifies and improves programming of equipment used in processing equipment.
  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures to coordinate with production schedule.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of production.
  • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
  • Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
  • Adjusts functional part of devices and control instruments.
  • Learns equipment and procedures for in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Advises and provides technical training to production personnel as deemed necessary.



  • Good mechanical skills, good manual dexterity and the ability to troubleshoot problems.
  • Experience with Electrical motors, motor controls, PLCs, Ladder logic, Ohms Law, Power calculations, sensors, gearboxes, and controls, panel-building.
  • Former training and working experience with technical Industrial wiring applications.
  • Work safely with high and low voltage equipment and all facility electrical equipment.
  • Ability to use strong attention to detail skills on a regular basis when performing daily duties.
  • Ability to be a self-starter.
  • Ability to work well with others, work flexible schedules and maintain good attendance.
  • Ability to proficiency read and write English, perform basic math and have basic computer skills.



  • Two (2) year certificate from college or technical school or one to two years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical and industrial maintenance.
  • Food or beverage manufacturing experience.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of industrial electrical experience.
