APEX Systems is looking for a Senior Procurement Analyst in Racine, WI!

Summary: 


• Support the Raw Materials portfolio (Surfactants, Solvents, Other Raw Materials, Active Ingredients, and Fragrances) to deliver Customer Service, Cost and Cash, and other objectives. 

• Manages 120 suppliers and $125MM of spend in a portfolio with a very high level of supply chain complexity. 

• This position is responsible to proactively plan, resolve and escalate delivery issues as they arise to ensure NA can meet delivery and quality targets. 

• This role also critical for supplier relationship management (SRM) for Raw Materials different portfolios, leading quarterly reviews with SRM suppliers and driving improvements to supplier performance. As we are expanding/automating SRM, work is required to cleanse data, train suppliers, drive recurrent cross-functional meetings with suppliers and validate the scorecard/metrics. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Customer Service: 

• Accountable for Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for assigned suppliers, including scorecard completion, leading the quarterly business review, supporting systems, and driving toward best in class through continuous improvement actions 

• Work with the suppliers as well as Planning, Quality, and other internal stakeholders to meet the desired OTIF, CFR, and Quality PPM targets 

• Lead and implement root cause analysis and corrective actions as appropriate 

• Proactively assess supplier capacity and initiate improvements with suppliers and stakeholders to increase supply chain reliability 

Sourcing Support: 

• Identify, initiate, and execute cost and cash improvement projects 

• Review ongoing cost savings projects and drive on time implementation with minimal direction 

• Support and lead the onboarding and offboarding of new suppliers 

• Identify needs and complete analysis for designated materials regionally and for global commodities and utilize analysis to identify cost savings opportunities 

• Ensure contract terms and conditions are executed (pricing, rebates, payment terms, incoterms, etc.) per the agreed to timing 

• Support SAP system maintenance to ensure material and vendor master data is accurate with minimal support 

• Participate in and potentially lead supplier negotiations 

• Support new supplier identification, selection, and qualification activities 

• Support and be able to lead request for quotes, cost analysis, and market analysis 

• Represent Procurement with minimal support on new product development teams
