This role within Dell’s SRO PMO team supports a new program and project management tool, a new intake tool, and integration with existing tools and business processes. The tools administrator will support day-to-day functionality of the tools, manage defect submission and resolution, create supporting documentation for new and ongoing training, provide feedback to related business processes, and have the opportunity to recommend new functionality.

Day to Day:
Use Project Server and SharePoint out-of-the-box administrative capabilities for configuration and utilization consulting, including:

• Troubleshooting, security settings; configuration changes

• Provide training on single tasks and overall functionality

• Work withsecond-level support to troubleshoot more complex issues

• Support the integration of the PPM tool with other tools as necessary, including the SRO Centralized Intake Portal

• Report on log of active and closed issues with their root cause, documented resolution, and impact to end users. Communicate status of issues and what’s required to resolve to end users directly and to the group on a regular basis.

• Report on tool analytics, including specific functionality (e.g. resource and cost management) and metrics

Key experience will include Sharepoint administration and development, plus advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities. Additional preferred experience includes Microsoft Project as well as Project Server and/or Project Web Access.
Communications skills, including content development, will be critical to the role.
Require 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience with project management preferred.
