Title: Skype Engineer

Location: North Austin or Remote for non-local candidates

Job Type: W2 contract position

Duration: 6 months (possible extension)

Shift: M-F 8-5

Pay Rate: Dependent on experience 

 

If you are eager to work with new technologies to design and develop software solutions used for local, networked and internet-related programs, we are the place to be. We are looking for an IT Systems Skype for Business Consultant – Voice/Skype for Business to join us in Round Rock/Remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Solution Architects and Project managers to create and perform analysis on metrics that provide insights into User Experience. 
  • Develop /Design bespoke targeted solutions to address call quality or customer pain points identified. 
  • Research ideas or concepts that might be used to develop solution improvements or customer experience enhancements. 
  • Provide Skype Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the Skype Operations support team and the TMX leadership. 
  • Manage discovery workshops
  • Carry out quality review audits of the work of less experienced technical consultants

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of deployment of solutions based on Skype for Business Enterprise solutions.
  • AD and/or Exchange and O365 experience highly desirable
  • Proven Consulting delivery experience ideally including project delivery within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Effective communicator (Consultative aural skills and written skills)
  • Confident in briefing and / or presenting to customers (to IT manager level); sales teams and management
  • Ability to prioritize multiple demands while ensuring customer needs are met
  • Appropriate Microsoft or VMware certification
