Job Summary:

This resource is to support and manage the day-to-day administration of the Information Lifecycle Management and Data Security and Privacy applications. This will include application installation/configuration, technical support, upgrades, troubleshooting, enterprise rollout, training and mentoring, etc. This resource will interact with business customers and system integrators to understand implementation requirements, so clear and assertive communication is a must. 

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • With limited guidance performs defect correction (analysis, design, code) on less complex issues and/or codes applications of medium complexity.
  • With guidance begins to install, customize and integrate commercial software packages.
  • Works with more tenured peers to gain understanding of systems while conducting root cause analysis of issues, reviewing new and existing code and/or performing unit testing Works with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
  • Learns to create system documentation/play books and attends requirements, design and code reviews.
  • Receives work packages from manager and/or delegates.
  • Understands and assists in gathering and analyzing customer requirements and may respond to outages following the appropriate processes.
  • Partners with experienced team members to develop accurate estimates on work packages.
  • May begin to identify issues that impact availability.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-6 years of database administration experience and SQL knowledge (should include performance tuning: ) 
  • 4-6 years of experience with scripting languages: Linux shell scripting, Python, Perl, PowerShell, can you any combo of these 
  • Any experience with Data Management, Data Privacy and Database Monitoring technologies such as IBM StoredIQ, IBM Guardium, Imperva, DLP, CASB, or similar 
  • Any experience with masking, tokenization, encryption, obfuscation, and/or redaction technology/solutions 
  • Good working knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems administration and networking concepts 
  • Any experience with cloud based systems (Azure, AWS, BOX, etc.) 
  • Any experience with SOAP/REST APIs and process automation/orchestration 
  • Any familiarity with Information Governance/Management and Data Privacy practice.
