POSITION PURPOSE
As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing various .Net applications. These applications may include web sites as well as back-end services. You will be joining an existing development team, so the ability to collaborate and work well with others will be essential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
1. Participate in the complete software development lifecycle from documenting requirements through implementation and testing.
2. Provide support and maintenance to existing applications including performance tuning and bug fixing.
3. Participate in Peer Code Reviews with your teammates.
4. Participate in design and architectural decision making.
5. Keep technically current on related software and technology.
6. Effectively communicate and work with IT Manager, team members and other departments.
7. Performs other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certifications: BS Computer Science/MIS/Information Technology/Computer Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience Required: 5+ years of development experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA): The position requires knowledge of the following technologies:
• Proficient in C# and ASP.NET
• Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
• Proficient with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Proficient with source control software
• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming
