BI Programmer Analyst (SAP BODS)

INFORMATION SERVICES DEPARTMENT

Looking for someone who has high end SQL Development experience, and has used SAP BODS for Code Integration and Development. 

Duties: 
• Creating workflows, looking for underlying SQL, 1 person is set up as a CE 
• Code Integration / development / moving data through the non-Prod environments to promote code etc. 
• Looking for someone with an SSIS – background to work with the project teams 
o Uploading data to FTP sites etc. 
• Work with the policy center team to model data and build tasks 

They do not have an insistence of SAP ECC – only using BODS for Data 
Not full stack at all from an SAP perspective, really need someone who is covering just BODS 
Create workflows in BODS 

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for administering and maintaining SQL databases. Also responsible for database development efforts across all teams.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintain and administer new database installations, tune existing database queries and manage existing databases to maintain performance levels.

Support IS Management by providing technical leadership and mentoring according to direction of supervisor.

Work with team of I.S. personnel including Business Analysts, QA Analysts, Architects and Management to determine specific data requirements.

Perform detailed program design, flow-charting, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Lead team of database administrators, BI Analysts and DBAs to properly maintain database systems and support application development.

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Document program and technical procedures to insure integrity and accuracy of information.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience (Must meet at least two of the following criteria):

A Bachelor’s degree

A minimum of 6 years of working experience in I.S. or related field

Possess five or more approved certifications within job area.

Excellent computer skills, analytical/problem solving skills and communication skills

Strong working knowledge of database architecture and Microsoft SQL Server

Demonstrates clear leadership potential and ability to direct and lead others.

Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities

Ability to work in a team environment

Motivated, self-directed, results-oriented, and customer-focused

Must have tact and diplomacy in maintaining cooperative relationships

Detail oriented and possess a desire for quality
