This position focuses on the delivery of business intelligence solutions including: dashboards, scorecards, reports, user interfaces, and associated database design and data structures using Microsoft applications and tools. The individual will apply proven communication skills, problem solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide the development team on issues related to design, development and deployment of applications.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • Creating SQL Queries to provide ad-hoc reports, analysis, and datasets based on business needs
  • Contribute to the Reports development lifecycle including understanding of requirements, designing and development of reports
  • Define, develop, and maintain reports written in SSRS utilizing SQL Server 2008 r2/2014, MS Excel, pivot tables and other tools
  • Design layout of SSRS reports and determine the best way to present data to end users
  • Assist with testing and quality assurance activities with data extracts, research and analysis
  • May make recommendations to management regarding programming standards and techniques
