Responsibilities of the Sr. Business Analyst:

  • Work with Infrastructure, QA and Software Engineers to improve overall development and test processes
  • Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents
  • Effectively communicate with external clients and internal teams to deliver functional requirements
  • Perform work with minimal direction, but is willing to ask questions as needed
  • Can aid in decision making process to meet organizational objectives
  • Look for continued personal and career growth in a technical industry


Required Experience/Skills of the Sr. Business Analyst:

  • Experience leading a team through gathering and verifying technical requirements
  • Ability to identify, understand and document business processes
  • Experience developing and utilizing documentation such as requirements matrix, work flows, design diagrams, etc.
  • Understanding of the SDLC
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Some experience or familiarity with programming languages and technologies (Node.js, Java, .NET, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of system design, analysis, requirements gathering
  • Understanding of configuration management processes and tools
  • Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Works well in a large team environment


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • PMP certification strongly preferred
