Job Overview

The Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs (MC&PA) group is responsible for managing client marketing, community investment, government relations, and all internal and external communications to employees, shareholders, clients, and the media. MC&PA works closely with the senior executive team, business lines, and functional areas to coordinate all marketing, community investment, and communications. MC&PA is part of the office of the CEO and has an enterprise-wide scope.

Enterprise Client Interactions and Campaign Management (ECICM)  is responsible for creating and delivering one-to-one direct marketing communications for clients that will lead to become the #1 bank in client experience.  The ECICM team is responsible for developing and managing campaign execution of client leads that increase client engagement, client acquisition and client retention for business lines such as Credit Cards, Deposits, Lending, Insurance through various channels such as Branch, Call Centres, Email, etc. 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Client Interaction and Campaign Management (ECICM), the Senior Consultant, Client Interaction and Campaign Management is responsible for providing analytical support to determine campaign opportunities, building contact programs and direct marketing campaigns to enhance client relationships and drive customer acquisition and retention of products and services.

What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Leverage client information and product data to analyze client information and banking behaviour to prepare pre-campaign analysis for the purpose of sizing and creating client contact programs and direct marketing campaigns.


  1. Manage and drive the technical design, development, execution, quality and ongoing management of new and ongoing internal and external campaigns for business partners.


  1. Define and document the technical design, technical requirements, development, execution and quality of medium to high complex ongoing and new internal and external campaigns.


  1. Establish a two-way working relationship with internal partners to solicit their input and feedback on campaign improvement opportunities


  1. Ensure the direct marketing communications and campaigns are delivered through the appropriate channels to maximize campaign effectiveness and seamless delivery to clients


  1. Leverage analytical partners including Client Insights (modeling team), Campaign Analytics and Client Reporting to improve and enhance contact programs and direct marketing campaigns


  1. Contribute to requirements to enhance and develop internal and external communication channels


  1. Manage small to medium size projects associated with client contact and direct marketing


  1. Conduct campaign audits, review data outputs and review lives to ensure campaigns are developed and delivered without errors


  1. Monitor and track process issues and make recommendation to streamline, enhance and improve overall processes


  1. Lead the development of campaign process improvements


  1. Trouble shoot issues to ensure the lead generation cycle remains on track and provide support to address client issues for immediate resolution.


  1. Building a solid understanding of your designated business partner group(s) & businesses to recommend client specific approaches to improve and enhance direct marketing campaigns.


  1. Provide training and support to new hires and support other Senior Consultants and Senior Analysts to help grow and develop their capabilities






What We’re Looking For

  • Experience and proficiency with campaign design and execution methods and tools such as Unica
  • Experience creating and developing direct marketing campaigns within the financial sector
  • A proven history in designing campaigns and leveraging measurement methods
  • Knowledge and experience with data exploration and leveraging data through business intelligence (BI)/User Interfaces
  • Ability to manage within tight deadlines, adapt to changing deadlines and ability to prioritize multiple deliverables within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources, analyze information, make recommendation and present information in an easy to understand manner.
  • Solid relationship building and interpersonal skills sufficient to develop and maintain internal and external business relationships
  • Developed process management, continuous improvement skills sufficient to identify opportunities to improve process and recommend potential solutions.
  • Developed project management skills sufficient to lead small to medium scale direct marketing projects and programs
  • Strong leadership skill sufficient to coach and train individuals on campaign development, processes and data
  • Knowledge and experience in leveraging statistical and predictive models and other targeting methodologies including segmentation.
  • Developed communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast past dynamic organization where change is a constant.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively, while managing competing priorities.
  • Previous experience in campaign development, database marketing.
