Sr Data Analyst 
Project - strategy transformation project involving migration of data from Cognos to Tableau 
Job Responsibilities
- Data element validation, data profiling, data standardization and data quality metrics  and reporting
- Support in capturing data requirements; data quality analysis and reconciliation; reference data management; exception management
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets 
- participate in data analytics projects and filter data. 
- Support in establishing governance over manual adjustment process for specified data domains; maintenance of process manuals
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs 
demonstrate customer focus, regularly speak to business groups and partner with business stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives 
- Support of the Management of daily quality assurance processes and integrity or risk measures
- Perform specific data or analysis based upon business user request
- Provide subject matter expertise and cross train other group members
- Provide reporting and input regarding activities, issues and issues resolution
- Ensures that the data is well-organized and understood in the right context to enable business decisions. 
- 5+ experience as a data analyst
- Experience with Switch, Variant, Genesis, Nuance
- Experience with reporting packages (tableau), databases (SQL Server, Oracle etc.),
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (MS Excel) 
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy 
- Experience of developing database queries, report writing and presenting findings 
- Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or related field
