Apex has an opportunity for an IT Project Manager role in the Waltham, MA. This is a 6+ month contract position and the pay rate is flexible depending on experience. Here are the details:

Location: Waltham, MA 
Duration: 6+ months
Rate: Negotiable based on experience 
Must haves:
  1. Strong PM skills- 5-7yrs
  2. Strong organizational skills
  3. Working on multiple projects managing all demands
  4. Project timelines important
  5. Working with multiple stakeholders
  6. Need to manage all the gaps
  7. ERP/SAP/SalesForce
  8. Consolidating all into one system currently, so strong understanding off all 3 are important.

Nice to haves:
  1. Government experienc - they are going towards FedRamp and GSam Compliance
  2. Service NOW exp
  3. Self Starter- need to function in the unknown, going to need to ramp up very quickly, little time for training or hand holding

The Sr. IT Project Manager is a position that will manage projects and/or programs for various IT initiatives that are driven by business need.
The Sr. IT PM will:
Coordinate medium/large projects as well as strategic initiatives across the org by putting together detailed project plans and task/milestone assignments/LoE estimates across all project tasks and resources
 
  • Effectively relay project plans to all involved parties (e.g. IT Development, IT Admins, BSAs, business stakeholders, Executives, PMO, etc.) and act as the point of contact for any issues that arise in the Project/Program Lifecycle
  • Coordinate and lead sessions with proper stakeholders to resolve any conflicts/issues that arise across a program/project; The Sr. PM should understand the business need for each project and make ongoing decisions based on what’s best for the organization—even if that means challenging senior stakeholders on critical success factors.
  • Work closely with PMO on status reporting and timelines; adhere to proper change management processes, ensure action items and decision points are shared and agreed upon across all key stakeholders;
  • Align with Product/GTM release schedules to determine production migration timelines
  • Assess stakeholder needs and issues, and document scope and ROI documents in a clear and concise manner
  • Quickly learn and adapt to various business systems and adheres to an agreed upon project management methodology and process (this could include agile, waterfall, extreme programming, etc.)
  • Work with vendors as needed to ensure business needs are met and projects are moving in accordance with agreed upon timelines, and budget
  • Occasionally gather and document system requirements, assess stakeholder needs and issues, and document required processes for large IT initiatives
  • Manage one or more multiple portfolios driving significant integrations and enhancements to business systems processes spanning multiple departments and organizations including cross organization integrations, new system implementations, management of key initiatives across the Data Warehouse, Infrastructure, IT Security, and IT Operations teams as well as integrations with other entities
  • Mentor Peer PM resources on leadership, methodology, tools, communication and how to navigate project issue and risks as well as identify continuous improvement opportunities that will help to move the PM team forward.
  • Significantly contribute in the interview and selection of new project management hires.

Lead and/or assist with IT project prioritization efforts across all departments and effectively communicate ETA’s to stakeholders; Also assist in developing IT roadmaps based on departmental needs and key initiatives
