Position: Senior .Net Developer (ASP.NET MVC)

Location: Washington D.C. (Chinatown)

Duration: Contract to Perm

Clearance: Ability to obtain and hold a Public Trust

Required skills:

  • Strong knowledge and use of C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework
  • Sufficient experience to develop an ASP.NET MVC/EF project from scratch if needed
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET Web API and best practices for developing web services
  • Knowledge of and use of common design patterns (repository, factory, façade, or others)
  • Familiarity with Dependency Injection (any toolkit)
  • SQL (Oracle preferred, but any is acceptable)
  • HTML5 + CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills when explaining technical content, as well as communicating with non-technical users
  • Experience working in an Agile (scrum, kanban or other) development environment

Desired skills:

  • TFS experience (managing user stories, tasks, version control, build/release management)
  • Kendo UI or another widget toolkit
  • Bootstrap or other CSS/responsive toolkit
  • Good at assisting or mentoring junior developers

Experience/Education: BS/equivalent + 9yrs experience or MS/equiv + 7yrs experience
