Head of Product/ Product Director
We are looking for someone who is a creative software product visionary, with a deep appreciation for details, and a proven ability to drive delivery.
The Head of Product owns the software product vision, strategy, design, and marketing efforts. They oversee every element of the company’s software product features and experience design from its conceptualization to its launch and post-launch performance. The Head of Product is generally responsible for defining great features that create sustainable value for the company and partnering with the VP of Engineering to deliver those outcomes.
  • Leads Software Product Vision and Strategy. Spearheads product strategy formation and execution through roadmaps, epics, and user stories in an agile delivery construct. Creates and manages a product portfolio that drives the business’s profitability. Plays a leading role in evaluating market and industry trends and competitor strategies to inform product direction.
  • Leads the Product Management function. Plays a manager/coaching/mentor role for product management personnel.  The Head of Product is the day-to-day leader of all feature definition and design activities to meet product goals. Partners with the VP of engineering to deliver software product outcomes.
  • Leads Software Product Research and Analysis. Directs research and analysis with consumers and partners. Performs various product analyses to establish product differentiation and execution strategies that lead to the product’s success.
  • Leads Product Marketing Efforts
  • Support an Agile Software Development process, working in conjunction with end users / stakeholders and technical delivery team.
  • Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
  • Own the processes to track product use and impact on end users

  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Skilled ability to obtain, understand and respond strategically to client needs.
  • Highly detail oriented and well organized.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Energetic, motivated, service-oriented, and able to multi task.
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic impacts on time, on budget, and meeting client commitments.

  • BA/BS Degree required. Master's Degree a plus.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience leading in Product Management or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading in an Agile Scrum environment. 
  • Demonstrated results leading consumer software with millions of users
