The successful candidate will be joining a premier organization working on many opportunities to improve healthcare. To do so, the candidate must present a noteworthy ability to consistently excel with these responsibilities

  • Effectively work with, but not ever fully accept, the status quo; to get things done, while pressing for continuous improvement at level appropriate to the situation and time
  • Cultivate Subject Matter Expert level understanding of legacy payment solutions and surrounding systems, an awareness of the problems already solved and/or problems awaiting when interfacing across platforms
  • Integral forward-driving tangible inputs on applying contemporary technologies to solve B2B problems, near term and future, while still effective at dealing with the necessary process and controls associated with a heavily regulated environment, e.g., HIPPA and SOX, PHI and PCI
  • Partner with team members, engineering executives, payments architect, and product management to drive through all challenges and to deliver a series of revenue enhancing B2B payment products and features

Skill Set

  • Eager to look deeply into legacy systems, most often provided using older  technologies and practices, and lacking documentation
  • A corresponding enthusiasm and capability for the future, able to translate current state conditions with roadmap and requirements
  • An execution mindset, a collaborative problem-solver

Desired Details

  • Industry: payments-related experience (e.g., credit card) is highly preferred, healthcare/insurance is a plus; broader financial services experience (e.g., retail banking, treasury, mortgage, etc) is required at least
  • Highly experienced: MS .NET, C#, Visual Studio, and SQL Server, WCF, web services, message queuing, integration designs and patterns, EDI/ETL, an Agile methodology, TDD, workflow and session processing technologies, enterprise logging and alerting
  • Education: BS, Computer Science or related
