Job Description

Job #:  832768

POSITION PURPOSE

This position will be responsible for the day to day management of the Logistics reliability engineering team. This team will focus on adding reliability to the Home Depot logistics services. It will focus on monitoring solutions, capacity planning, wheel of misfortune exercises, application performance and VALET monitoring, and overall health of logistics systems.

You will be responsible for scaling some of the largest software products in Logistics by automating the application infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring of those products in production. Our “own what you build” mentality empowers you to make decisions quickly to deliver reliability improvements without the red tape that typically surrounds enterprise environments. You will work directly with product engineering teams leveraging Agile principles, and, when you aren’t automating all things, you will be proactively executing destructive tests, participating in “game day” exercises, and related activities to improve the operational readiness of your product(s).
