Job Description:

The right candidate will have special circuit testing experience,DS0-DS3 but this is not required. They will be working in Leesburg and must be available for a variety of shifts including nights and weekends. They must be comfortable working 100% over the phone and working under production driven leadership. The technician will be dealing with a range of customers for example small businesses ( clinics, lawyer's offices) and large corporations ( ex Florida Hospital), this is why having strong oral and communication skills is very important. On average the technician will be conducting 2.5 calls an hour and will be expected to complete 1 ticket in an hour. On a regular day the technician will get a call from a customer, the customer will provide a circuit ID, the technician then will attempt to isolate the issue, if it cannot be fixed the tech will dispatch the issue to a field tech or higher level support team. Techs calls are usually 50% talking with customers and 50% escalating issues to other teams.

Candidates can expect to gain knowledge of the following technologies:

* DS1/DS3 theory knowledge. 
* AA/AS/BA/BS - Degree in Electronics/Telecom/ or related field 
* Working knowledge of analog circuits. 
* Experience with the DMS-100, and Lucent 5ESS. 
* Possess broad background of network equipment including multiplexers, SONET nodes, and other test equipment. 
* Working knowledge of wiring, testing, turn-up, and troubleshooting special circuits. 
* Working knowledge of Alcatel 1631, Tellabs 530, 532, 5500. 
* Working knowledge Adtran 2820 MUX, Calix, OPTI6100,and HDSL .
