We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager for a large financial client. This position can sit in Charlotte or Delaware and will move quickly. Please send your resume to if you are interested. 


Position Summary 
Leads a large project or multiple projects that are significant in scope and impact. Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results. Initiates and provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues and in the development of an IT environment which meets current and anticipated business requirements and objectives. Participates with IT management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area. Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client/business area and internal IT management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints and complex service requests. Provides the client areas with technology products and service alternatives that improve the IT service delivery process.

o Defining, planning, orchestrating, and delivering a given strategic initiative, including business, operational, and information technology deliverables 
o Ensuring end results are of the highest caliber with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit 
o Directly managing all aspects of the project life cycle and overseeing all phases of a project, working under the guidance of a program director. 
o Rigorously managing scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters 
o Validating financial forecasts and cost assumptions, and providing ongoing reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures 
o Defining and tracking project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan 
o Interfacing with internal organizations in a manner that promotes a positive and cooperative approach for achieving business objectives 
o Managing project financials 
o Project resource planning 
o Anticipating, managing and mitigating project risks 
o Tailoring processes to project needs 
o Managing change to best deliver business value 
o Managing meeting preparation and facilitation with more senior attendees 

Required Skills 
o At least 5 years experience in managing Technology projects 
o At least 7 years experience in application development 
o Extensive experience working with technical stakeholders to understand and drive out complex technical solutions 
o Have planned, organized, and monitored project performance using appropriate program management tools and techniques in alignment with BAC Change and Project Management Framework 
o Experience with stakeholder management 
o Excellent Analysis skills specially in capturing requirements of functionality built in spreadsheets 
o Good presentation skills required for the preparation and presentation of information to stakeholders 
o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills 
o Strong business and financial acumen including line of business subject matter knowledge 

Desired Skills 
o Experience with BAC Project management processes and routines (PCM, Op Plan, Rally, Nexus)
