Technical Data Marketing Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • You will be a key partner for marketers in identifying data needs for their campaigns.
  • You will manage the ingestion of new data, creating data flags, suppressions, segmentation in Eloqua.
  • Ensures solutions are scalable, repeatable, efficient and effective.
  • The role will lean on and partner closely with the run the business data ops team for data subject matter expertise and guidance.
  • Partner closely with business and technical teams to understand their project objectives and provide data-driven solutions and recommendations.
  • The role will own heavy documentation of various data flows, data dictionary, and training materials.
  • The role works with many cross-functional teams from marketers, product marketers, analysts, and data ops.

  • Confident articulating recommendations based on learnings, data and insights
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand data to execute highly personalized campaigns
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong ability to convert complex data into segmentation
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in highly matrixed organization
  • Experience managing small teams, prioritizing work, and problem solving
  • Adaptable, versatile and adventurous. Someone who seeks out new challenges and problems to solve.
  • Extensive experience setting up and managing campaigns in Marketing Automation Systems (e.g. Eloqua).
  • Technical Programming: Database experience with advanced SQL skills; experience researching and manipulating complex and large data sets: SAS, SQL, HIVE, Python, etc.
  • Experience using Google doc, Jira, Wikis, QuickBase, a plus.
  • Education: B.S. or M.S in a quantitative field - Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related fields.
