Business Unit Description:

Our Risk Management teams work to protect the safety and soundness of our systems and are responsible for identifying, managing, measuring and mitigating a spectrum of key risk types including credit, market, liquidity, systemic, operational and technology in all existing and new products, activities, processes and systems.

Our Business Continuity Management team is responsible for preparing the organization to respond to events that interrupt business so that critical business functions continue within specified regulatory timeframes. Critical functions are broadly defined as activities that directly and indirectly serve clients, protect assets and records, and maintain DTCC's reputation.


Position Summary:


The successful candidate will Develop processes and tools to enhance the maturity of resilience capabilities throughout DTCC. Take a hands-on approach with the application of technology to analyze large data sets and design departmental automation solutions. Work with stakeholders throughout the enterprise to identify and mitigate technology resilience risks.

Specific Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to the design of business continuity team automation solutions.
  • Work hands-on with large data sets and open source tools to analyze resilience risk.
  • Identify potential technology resilience risks in proposed new enterprise initiatives.
  • Assess the resilience capabilities and risks inherent in proposed cloud architectures.
  • Identify technical recovery requirements for DTCC business applications, based on established business recovery requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with application development and support teams to document critical dependencies between applications and on underlying infrastructure.
  • Define, track and report metrics relating to the adherence and execution of DTCCs Global Business Continuity Management policy.
  • Maintain all Business Continuity related documentation for review by internal and external auditors and regulators.
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk

  • 3+ years’ experience in an enterprise technology and operations risk management role
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or related field
  • Training or certification in enterprise technology and/or cloud solutions preferred
