Apex Systems has immediate openings for Test Engineer Lead in support of a brand new 5-year contract supporting one of our large government integrators in the Baltimore Metro area. The program is seeking a subject matter expert providing systems administration expertise for support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
Location: Baltimore Metro.
Length: Long term Contract, 1-5 years dependent on performance.
Security Clearance: Secret (Active) with eligibility for Top Secret
 
Test Engineer (Lead)
Required Background:

• 
• BA/BS in a technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience

• 
• 4-years of related experience may be substituted for degree

• 
• Certifications related to Agile methodology, SCRUM, and/or ITIL highly desired.

• 
• At a minimum must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirement. IAT Level III highly desired
 
Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 
• Directs and/or participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.

• 
• Responsible for ensuring that the test design and documentation support all applicable client, agency or industry standards timelines and budgets.

• 
• Responsible for ensuring that testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results, and project managers are fully informed of testing status and application deviations from documented user requirements.

• Experience in several of the following areas ACAS, Fortify, NASA Worldwind, PostgreSQL, Apache Geode, HTML5, NetBeans (Apache), RHEL, Apache JMeter, Java, Oracle 11g, RMF, Apache Tomcat, JBOSS EAP, Oracle WebLogic, SCAP, AutoIt, Jemmy, OWF, SharePoint, Bugzilla, Jira, Pivotal GemFire, Solaris, Test-Link, VMWare, WebDriver, Windows
