The Verification and Validation Engineer will be is tasked with identifying gaps in the product design history file and developing verification or validation test protocols, set-up and execute the tests and develop test reports to demonstrate compliance with a product requirement. This is a 10 month assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion at the end. 

  • Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
  • Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
  • Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
  • Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Detail oriented with a high level of organization.
  • Broad knowledge of basic physics and mechanical properties of materials (e.g. strength, elasticity, basic optics, moment arm, etc.)
  • Technical writing skills, basic knowledge of electricity (ohms law, properties of capacitors, etc.)
  • Good verbal and written communications skills, including communications and interactions with supporting organizations and the ability to lead a teleconference with several people.
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous work environment to obtain information and develop plans.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Local to the Boulder/Greater Denver CO area.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, etc.) with 2 years of experience in a highly regulated industry (medical device is strongly preferred)


  • Master's Degree and co-op/internship experience at a biotech/medical device company
