Training Design and Developer Specialist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, create new training modules, lessons or sessions to support end user learning in an online format
  • Develop supporting training manuals, work instructions, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials as required
  • Secure  buy-in and feedback on the content, and deliverables to ensure they align with audience learning needs / objectives
  • Work with a SME to ensure learning content and objectives are accurate and align with the training objective and desired outcomes
  • Create media to support learning (e.g., presentations, videos, and various multimedia for e-learning)
  • Develop assessments for content, materials and activities
  • Develop and monitor a schedule for the review and revision of the curriculum
  • Train LOB trainers to deliver the curriculum and to administer the program (if required)

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (instructional design, curriculum development, or other related field) plus Five (5) years of working experience in on-ground, online and blended instructional design conducting needs assessments and analysis through to implementation and assessment.
  • E-Learning design and development experience using software such as Adobe Captivate
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with different positions within the company required
  • MS Office skills required
  • Previous demonstrated experience in developing high quality, professional training programs and affiliated training aids
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Solid organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, on time and on budget
