Our client is looking to bolster the TOC operational tooling team with the help of your rock solid front-end development skills! You are a design-minded, user experience-focused problem solver. You relish in the opportunity to flex your systematic thinking muscle, but also recognize that systems are an art. At your core, you believe that the best solutions are reusable, consumable, and serve to elevate the entire product ecosystem.

You will work the with a team of API developers to provide the front-end to the tools that we're developing here in our Technology Operation Center (TOC).  You’ll also interface with developers outside of the immediate team to consult on the creation of technology-specific implementations (Angular, React, etc.) using the core design system styles.

You report to the Lead Developer for the operational tools team, but may also work closely with other development teams in the TOC. For coordination, we have regular standups and grooming session and utilize tools like Jira, slack, and confluence for managing priorities and workflow.

Our small but scrappy award-winning team has spent the past year creating tools that were conceived in the midst of high-impacting, highly visible incidents.  Your work will enable teams across the enterprise to quickly identify problems and resolve them at the click of a button.

*Job Requirements*

  • 3 - 5 years experience front-end focused UI development 
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of HTML / CSS / Javascript / Angular

*Notable Bonus Skills*

  • CI/CD experience (building or usage)
  • Experience with visualization libraries like vis.js and d3.js
  • Amazon Web Services
