Role and Responsibilities

Primary Functions:

  • Provide general support to VMWare Horizon View VDI environment
  • Familiarity with patching, STIG, and IAVM compliance of VDI environment and related images
  • Manage and monitor Windows Active Directory
  • Manage VDI environment to include hosts and virtual desktop images
  • Provide on-call and recall support as-required to sustain 24/7/365 operations

Qualifications and Education Requirements


  • Required:
    • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related technical discipline or 06 years of progressively responsible experience
    • CompTia Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, or GSEC in good standing (IAT-II or higher)
    • Current (within 05 years) computing environment certification; Ex. VMware VCP or Microsoft MTA, MCSA, MCSE


  • Required:
    • VMware Horizon View (02 years)
    • Hands-on technical experience (06 years)
    • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 and newer (02 years)
    • Microsoft Windows 10 and newer (02 years)
  • Preferred
    • BMC Remedy (02 years)
    • IAVM Compliance (02 years)


  • Candidates must be US citizens and able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance as a condition of employment
